Mindfulness The Roots of Awareness
Mindfulness The Roots of Awareness. While I was running in the park, I saw something bright red in the distance. It was a beautiful flame of the forest tree, fully bloom with its red flowers. There is something different about this tree as it is shorter than the usual flame of the forest. After a close examination, I found that lightning must have stroked the trunk and split the tree during a thunderstorm.
Fortunately, the tree survives and continues to grow and blossom. But, if the lightning was to strike at its roots, it will be destroyed. Thus, the essential part of the tree will be its root, and that is worth protecting.
.
We have to protect our minds, as the core of life is our mind. We may have fostered many positive traits in ourselves, but they can all be destroyed by internal and external factors. However, if we retain our mindful awareness, we can reclaim our lives with ease and tranquillity. Our minds are like the roots of a tree; we must nurture and care for them.
.
And the essential component of meditation, as I always remind my #mindfusuccess members, is awareness and learning to be the watcher of our minds rather than meditating just for relaxing the mind.
.
In wealth, we will eventually accumulate many assets in this material civilization, such as houses, automobiles, stocks, and other valuables. All of these assets are made feasible by our earnings. And even if we lose all of our assets one day due to unforeseen circumstances, as long as we continue to earn money, we will be able to recoup all of our assets. As a result, our incomes are like the tree’s root.
.
When I give my clients financial advice, I always recommend that they have a suitable income protection plan in place because that is the foundation of their wealth. It is similar to our physical health; our mental well-being is critical.
.
Are your mind and income worth protecting?
