Why Practice Meditative Awareness?

Mindfulness is meditative Awareness. It is when you are aware that you are aware. It is the fundamental quality of our mind. Our thoughts and feelings will come and goes, but our Awareness does not it is always present.  

There will be the moment when you are aware that thoughts are going through your head, and because of this Awareness, you have a choice and, that is very powerful.

It is powerful because you can choose to attach to your thoughts, let them go, learn from them or work with them consciously. Without mindfulness, one will drift off with their thoughts into an endless loop.
