Meditation is Not About Thinking of Nothing
Meditation is not about thinking of nothing. It is about awareness, the key to being in the present moment.
Basic awareness is when you are aware, and meditative awareness is when you are aware that you are aware. And that is mindfulness.
Aware of your thoughts arising, your surrounding sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. Be aware but do not attach to them.
